| AUSTIN Kinky Friedman said his campaign manager should not have filed a criminal complaint against fellow independent gubernatorial candidate Carole Keeton Strayhorn over possible illegal use of state employees. But he won't ask the manager to withdraw it. Campaign manager Dean Barkley filed a complaint with the Travis County district attorney alleging that Mrs. Strayhorn had state employees produce briefing papers for political events. Mrs. Strayhorn's office has denied wrongdoing. End of Story. |
