El Paso is a great community, a warm place with warm people. We love living here. It is time now, though, to better demonstrate to our elected officials how much we care about ourselves and each other, about our neighborhoods, our infrastructure needs, and our children's future. The best way, the most effective way, to show that we care about what happens in El Paso is to vote.
It is because of below-average voter turnout that El Paso has below-average health insurance coverage, education, employment opportunities and state funding for public services. Increased voter turnout will translate into more dollars into this community, better health coverage, more jobs and a brighter future for all of us and our children. El Paso Counts... as much as Austin. |
